AAPP 2027 Member Submitted Programming Proposals

Deadline: March 12, 2026

AAPP is working to include as many diverse voices as possible within our educational activities. Therefore, we are encouraging members to self-nominate for a presentation or author opportunity in AAPP’s upcoming events and products. Please submit a topic in your area of expertise that is currently affecting our field of practice or emerging as a new trend within our specialty.

The proposals will be reviewed by members of programming and recertification editorial boards. These editorial boards consider many factors when making selections, including but not limited to:

• Alignment with the BPS Psychiatric Pharmacy Content Outline
• Alignment with DEI initiatives
• Balance and objectiveness of the topic
• Content covered in previous AAPP educational products
• Data from the AAPP member needs assessment
• Intent to provide details on how to implement successful programs for others to replicate
• Qualifications of the proposed faculty
• Quality and depth of the topic
• Relevance to the audience
• Supporting evidence-based data from research to demonstrate results

Submission of a topic does not guarantee selection. Proposals that are not selected for a specific product/event are stored for consideration by other editorial boards or for use in the future. You will be contacted regarding next steps if your proposal is selected.
