Seeking Authors for 2028-2029 Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy Review Book

AAPP encourages AAPP BCPP members to apply for consideration to serve as author of a module for the 2028-2029 Psychiatric Pharmacy Review Book. The Review book is launched every 2 years and is both a preparatory, self-study book for the BCPP candidate as well as a recertification product for BCPPs recertifying by continuing education.

Authors are provided the module from the previous edition as a starting point and are charged with updating to reflect new information and developments using a prescribed, required outline. Authors are responsible for:

New! Seeking Virtual Mental Health First Aid Instructor for Nov. 4, 2026

The AAPP Foundation is offering Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) multiple times throughout 2026 in the hybrid virtual setting. This consists of 2 hours of participant home study + 6 hours of virtual group instruction in a Zoom classroom.

A virtual-certified MHFA instructor is needed for the course planned for November 4, 2026.

The instructor will work with a co-instructor and divide preparation responsibilities. The AAPP Foundation will provide the instructor with a small honorarium.

New! AAPP Seeks Volunteers for NAMI Annual Meeting in Atlanta

The 2026 NAMI National Convention is May 27-30, 2026 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. AAPP needs local volunteers to help man NAMI's Ask the Psychiatric Pharmacist booth. The times and dates for the booth are anticipated as follows:

  • Thursday, May 28 from 10 AM – 5 PM
  • Friday, May 29 from 8:30 AM – 3 PM 

Volunteers are asked to volunteer in at least 2-hour increments.
